Take a Day Trip to Lang Lang

Lang Lang Rodeo. Monday 21st April @10am. ~30 minute drive via the South Gippy hwy.

The Lang Lang Rodeo on Easter Monday has been a tradition since 1944. Enjoy watching the cowboys as they attempt to ride the bucking bulls and horses. See the barrel racers as they compete to be the fastest. Watch the expertise of the cowboys in the team roping and the steer wrestling. The junior steer ride gives the youngsters an opportunity to learn the skills needed to ride the huge bulls that our experienced cowboys pit their skills against. Instant playback on the big screen will ensure you don’t miss a second of the action.

Laugh with us at lunchtime as we bring you the ‘Dashhound Dash’ and the Dog High Jump. Don’t miss out on a chance to enter our ‘Mullet Competition’.

Family tickets are available for this family focused rodeo, although children under 6 years old are admitted free. There will be plenty of food to purchase or you can bring your own picnic.

This is strictly a no BYO alcohol event. A licenced bar will operate, selling a variety of beer (including craft beer) wine and spirits.

We are expecting a large variety of trade stalls for you to visit, so look forward to a full day’s entertainment.
