An afternoon of open mic 🎤🎸returns to the Cardinia Park Hotel - Sunday 8th of December. Save the date! 🎶

To assist provide more performance spots we're planning to have
juniors perform 12.30pm to 1.30pm 🌟 and young adults onward - 2pm to 5pm. 🎵

Hosted by local duo REN & Dave this will be held in the Bistro gardens for singers in the area that would like to perform at an open mic (adults - instrument or accompanist preferred).
If the weather is looking unfriendly we will advise an alternative location at the venue prior to the event.

Performance slots will be limited. Don't miss out! Book for lunch 🍜🍖🍹in the Bistro to guarantee a performance spot. When making your reservation you will need to ask the venue team member to note that you are booking for a junior or adult performer at the open mic.

Family friendly event. All under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Discover the future of Victorian music at Bunjil Place! In collaboration with JOF and Bunjil Place, ALWAYS LIVE have selected 10 of the best emerging artists from across Victoria to perform at a huge multi-stage event at Bunjil Place Plaza this December. Now in its third year, Garage Band aims to amplify the voices of Victoria’s next generation of musicians through a process of workshops and mentorship, culminating in a huge day of performances. Celebrate music, community and the limitless possibilities of Victoria’s next wave of musicians at Garage Band 2024!

Performing at Bunjil Place will be aristotle, Arrhythmia, Balmoral, Blaise Taran, Chicken Salt, Fingerless Uncles, Golden Record, Sophia Tan, Sunday Again and Tallulah Grace.

This event is part of ALWAYS LIVE, a 17-day state-wide celebration of contemporary live music supported by the Victorian Government through Visit Victoria.

Big Day Out for Dogs is back for 2024 - This is a community event hosted by Dogs Victoria where our grounds are open to the public so everyone can come along and celebrate everything about our four-legged friends!

Held at our premises KCC Park in Skye, the event is aimed at showcasing Dogs Victoria affiliated clubs and their breeds and to present the sport of dogs and all the activities that you can get involved in.

This event provides the opportunity for the public to come along with friends and family and meet Dogs Victoria members and their dogs, see the dogs in action and learn what Dogs Victoria is all about.

The event also provides information and education about responsible dog ownership and the opportunity to meet and greet a range of different dog breeds.


The public are encouraged to bring their dogs (well behaved on a lead!) as there are many activities that they get involved in and have a go on the day such as agility, dancing with dogs, scent work and much more.

The Canine Christmas Market is one of the main elements of the day where you will find market stalls filled with doggy related items for you and your pooch.
