Hey there Scoopers. It's Thursday again and I've managed to Scoop up some interesting finds for you to do this weekend.

BOB ”BONGO” STARKIE’S SKYHOOKS SHOW keeping the music of SKYHOOKS alive!!

BOB ”BONGO” STARKIE, legendary guitarist and member of the iconic Australian band SKYHOOKS, started his SKYHOOKS SHOW in 2015 and has been selling out venues all over Australia keeping the music of SKYHOOKS alive.

The SKYHOOKS SHOW is starting a new Era. The big news is previous singer Laura Davidson has moved on to concentrate on other musical pursuits, but don’t be sad fans we have uncovered an incredible talent to fill her platform shoes!

We welcome SASHA THEUNISSEN on lead vocals. SASHA is a 21 year old emerging Super Star who loves the 70’s era and brings a new energy to the band line-up. Featuring prominent musicians Michael Cristiano on guitar/vocals, Sean McLeod on drums and Kim May on bass.

In between songs Bob shares humorous anecdotes and insights into the inner workings of the SKYHOOKS. SKYHOOKS helped change the face of Australian music in the 1970’s with a string of number One and top 10 singles to their credit, as well as two of Australia’s biggest selling albums, ‘Living in the70’s’ and ‘Ego is not a Dirty Word’.
