Slim pickings this week in Casey but I’ve managed to scoop up some fun things to do. The EV expo at Bunjil is a great chance to see what EV’s are all about. If you’re still on the fence about EV’s then this event might be a chance to clear up any unresolved questions.

NOTE: the comedy night at Devolution is TONIGHT. So if you want in then you will need to act fast.

Featuring a curated lineup of some of Australia's best and freshest comedians, Devolution is bringing the laughs to Berwick.

Our next comedy night is headlined by Daniel Connell!

Daniel Connell is one of Australia's best comedians. A regular at the comedy festival gala, a regular on Have You Been Paying Attention? and a regular at all of the biggest clubs in the country, and personally one of my favourite comedians, so I'm stoked for Berwick that he'll be heading to our November show!

Joining him is local comedian Oliver Hunter, 'lovable, laconic and a little bit dark' Hunter has been plying his trade for nearly a decade and gigged all over Australia as well as into the USA.

Freddie Arthur has just gotten back from Edinburgh Fringe, where she did approx 34097987 gigs during her 4 weeks there (I have only SLIGHTLY exaggerated). One of the most unique and freshest voices on the Melbourne comedy circuit, I'm stoked to have her on the show.

And I'm back to take the reigns after a month off, it'll be my last gig in Melbourne for a while, so come and give me a good send off

AND there will be drink specials running throughout the night!

Tickets are $25+fees, with this line up it'll be sure to sell out, so book them early to guarantee a seat, grab a cocktail and settle in for a night of laughs.

Kitchen Warehouse - Has Opened At Narre Warren

I think I just found my new happy place in Casey and my credit card is about to get some serious abuse.

I had a moment to drop past on Monday for a very quick visit and got the chance to meet the delightful staff.

Kitchen Warehouse is a family owned and run business. Their first bricks and mortar store opened in Perth in 1996. Since then, the business has grown to include 22 stores across Australia, as well as an online store offering an even wider range of products.

The Kitchen Warehouse has a Housewarming Party coming up on Saturday 16th November starting 9am - noon, but feel free to drop in any time as the doors are open. Scoop up a Movie at the Village Cinema

Matlock

Critically acclaimed powerhouse actress, Kathy Bates, is returning to screens in Matlock, a reimagining of the original 80s television legal drama.

An unassuming ex-lawyer, Madeline Matlock (Kathy Bathes) dives back into the working world following the tragic death of her daughter.

Madeline sees being middle-aged as a secret weapon for flying under the radar, and even though she hasn't practiced law in 30 years, her wily ways gain her a position at a prestigious law firm.

However, it's the plot twist in the final moments of the premiere episode that will have everyone talking, as Madeline's personal reason for having such a thirst for justice is revealed.
